Hunt's music is a lot of things, post rock perhaps being one of them. Hunt is a sonic wave. A lonesome and steady drum beat. Superb bass lines. Great guitar melodies, sometimes clean, other times drenched in effects. Bittersweet pop songs being dismantled and then reorganized by four individual musicians each adding their own nuances. Plus their drummer is bloody amazing.
Susanna Brandin’s voice is one of three in this world that automatically have their own private freeway from my ear canals to that beat up little muscle in my chest.
