Erik Enocksson is back with the mini-album "For Those In Peril" consisting of original music from the film of the same name. Via dark chorales and disturbing sea hymns Enocksson consolidates his role as one of Sweden's most interesting composers. Like the film's Scottish director, Paul Wright, Enocksson grew up in a small fishing village, from where he has found inspiration for these pieces of music. The texts are written in Morpekanska (a dying dialect only spoken in the region around the community Glommen), words and phrases that literally breathes past times where the sea was ever present in myth as well as the living. Erik Enocksson is part of the Swedish film collective “Fasad” who has created a series of internationally acclaimed films such as "Falkenberg Farewell", "Burrowing" and "Monkey". "For Those In Peril" was selected for Critics' Week at Cannes 2013, and has among others been awarded a British Independent Film Award and the Scottish BAFTA for best debut and best film."
